I feel the most impressive thing about this place is the way dinner is prepared and served. If you are able to sit up top, you can watch the people in the kitchen. The servers skip going up the stairs and create a sort of special handing plates up to each other. I don't really remember what our dinner was, the main entree only had three seared scallops on a bed of greens. I had no idea how tiny everything was going to be! I think the tomato soup was the best, but also incredibly small. Dessert was served in a individual syringe. This place isn't as pretentious as the workers would like to think it is. The crowd is a kind of "burning man in the city" The girls next to us were sooooo sloppy. My friend kept commenting on the mess they kept making (tomato soup all over the white bed) My advice if you see a bunch of single white girls is to move, they think everything is 'free range' - minus a star because my friend bought a CD and was instructed to pay for it at the bar. The Bartender (mexican/latin girl) threw a BITCHYYYY attitude at me for wanting to BUY THEIR CD, she snapped "not right now its too busy". I told the front desk guy and he rung us up.... we get in the car, drive away...the CD case was EMPTY. yup NO cds. I did call and they sent another one, but not so pleasant way to end the night. - minus a star for them having a Prom there. Once we waited in line for too long, of course the bouncer lets all his friends in first which was a ridiculous amount of (8-10) ppl. Of course they keep people waiting to making the night look interesting..but when I saw a bunch of high school kids walking out, we almost walked out...but we were next so we stayed... and ate the high schoolers cupcakes The cucumber Fernando is the only drink I recommend, but its only served during dinner. The entertainers are really good tho =)

I wanted to love this place, and the reviews are so good that I was anticipating a much better meal. I tried the chicken liver appetiser. The livers were dry and not even as good as the ones I make at home. Then I had the meatloaf. It was so overseasoned, both salt and pepper. My friend had the trout which was so overbuttered that he said butter was all he could taste. Very disappointing.
