by David C. on Brutally sodomizes you financially - good thing I live here, but I feel sorry for all those coming from far and near to experience rooms of music as good as the next "club" but ten times more expensive. I know the average high end place pulls this - but these drinks are small, whether it's water or mixed alcohol, and the staff generally look like they hate their jobs and you - probably has something to do with management. Anyway, there are other smaller, cooler places that blast the chemical brothers, or some German or Swiss techno so we can dance our sweet a**es off. On the bright side, the place is chock full of hot bods and a good sound system. But then again, the self-absorbed knuckle heads that come from "the jersey shore," etc. tends to make this club a must-pass for more than twice - the second time being when you have to go with someone visiting NYC for the first time.
by Gregg Midyett on My favorite part about this place is the music. They have "mashup" nights twice a month, and it's a ton of fun. Drinks are priced ok i guess, and cover is like $12 after 10PM The club itself is decent. Nothing fancy, but not run down. They small back rooms where they usually put other DJ's spinning some weird music, but it's fun to check out. Crappy neighborhood, I recommend taxi.
by Lacy Friedeck on 1984 Thursdays has consistently been my favorite club experience. AMAZING 80's time. I have never had more fun dancing at a club (spinning any kind of music). Can't wait to get a Friday off of work so that I can go back.
