by Denae Okada on I've been here several times and each time: the foo is ok, the service sucks, but the music is fantastic. The sitting is very intimate and up close. Usually they have two shows lasting about an hour and half. I usually see both shows when I go and the second show is always, I mean always better. It's like the band is warming up during the first show and the second show the band is on FIRE! If you can afford two show, it is worth it. If not, see the second.
by Marlys Gustus on I was here for the midnight tranny show last night and I think we may have witnessed a 70 year old tranny die on stage. After his "show" he collapsed coming off the stage. All the clueless gays stood around confused. Finally someone went over and realized he wasn't breathing and I think started doing CPR. Eventually a bunch of paramedics came in, started doing more CPR and eventually hauled him out. Yikes - anyone know what happened? If this doesn't tell you how ghetto this place is, I don't know what would.
