by Stefan S. on I really enjoy this place. My friends and I tend to end the night at this place just about every weekend. We make it there just in time for the last show of the night which is always the best one. The decor is amazing and once you enter The Box you feel as if you're in a different era. The music is always great, not the top 40 crap you hear at just about every other spot. We love getting up on the stage and dancing into the wee hours of the morning. The crowd tends to be prick-free for the most part and easy going. That's the kind of crowd that is drawn to The Box and which makes it the ideal spot to end the night on a bang. No pun intended.
by Avery Muto on I think this place has fallen off a lot over the years. Went on saturday night, a few lowlights: -Ran out of beijing duck at 7pm!!! This was the whole reason I came -A member of our party had to send back the ginger sea bass because it reeked of fishiness and was absolutely disgusting. -Salt and pepper calamari was overcooked, way to chewy, and some pieces were unedible The waiter was nice, pad thai was good, and the chicken potstickers were awesome. Otherwise a so-so experience.
