by Numrin T. on Let the name speaks for itself. This place is HUGE!!!! It can easily take up a few hundred people. In addition to a big dance floor with a little stage, there was a little dance room in the back. Along the side and in the back of the room, you can find comfy couches. Having more than one giant bar definitely helped spreading the crowd a bit. The bartenders were nice and gave you strong drinks. Hungry or want to get sober up fast? There's a delicious, cheap taco truck outside serving you fresh and hot tacitos, burritos, etc. They guys in the trucks were nice too. However, don't get too drunk because you don't want to get kicked out by the bouncers there. Good DJs and music. However, I am not sure about the dress code. We went there for a private party hosted by a start up company...so I saw a mix crowd of people dressing up and dressing down. These include those who were very sociable as well as a bunch of nerds and geeks. Other notes: - There are sufficient stalls in the women's restroom that I didn't have to get in line. - Also, the place was well ventilated. We walked in there early in the evening and it was COLD inside but once 500 people showed up, the place definite got significantly warmer but still breathable. - Plenty of parking space outside.

It is a 5 floor walk up, but consider that a time to burn off calories before the magnificent corn dogs that are located atop the peak. When you enter the Carny fest, it appears at first like a themed Vegas gambling palace. Upon further adventuring through the clowns mouth you see the second bar/lounge and dance floor. That leads you to the shooting range that then begets the open forum. All your favorite carnival games and themes are present. The twist is the top prizes, which is of of coarse in adult fun fashion is a vibrator. The entertainment comes from juggling unicyclists, magicians, and stilt walkers. As well as some sexy and scathingly clad waitresses. The food is located towards the front. snow cones, corn dogs, pretzels and hot dogs are key to the experience. the drinks are stronger if you get them from the smaller bar in the back. I had the sword swallower and some magic hat beers. All in all it was a great experience. I will be planning for my birthday to be there (May 29th, 2009).
by Pat Sposito on I like this place. It's close to my work, they have a big draft beer selection, a solid and inexpensive happy hour menu, and a pretty friendly staff. I usually come by on Thursdays for a few beers and a snack with coworkers, and they do serve a pretty decent lunch. Definitely worth checking out :)
