by Jeorge G. on das bunker use to be good like 12 years ago back when it was in long beach. now its just another fake wanna be goth rave with lame as wanna be techno goth and cheesy hot topic fashions. The only room I enjoy is the old school room where they play real good stuff. but that main room where they play power noise is a joke. room filled with orange county tourist yuppies with clip on coils and baggy goth wear. and white trash. but then again the entire goth industrial scene has gone to shit. Its not what it use to be. even though das bunker is considered the "it " place to be there were way better clubs back in the day like Dungeon and Stigmata without the rave atmosphere and tacky cyber goth rave wear. Just because all bands play at a location doesnt mean its the best club. i have been to other clubs around the US and yes Das bunker gets hella crowded but does not mean the music is any better. its just a big gothic rave. that is not what this scene was about before. and yes there have always been geeks but the ravers is what makes it suck. and if you cant dance dont worry, people here cant dance like people use to anyways. they just rave dance with glowsticks?!
by Kaley Dreyer on unfortunately i was taken here during a birthday pub crawl. douchey, douchey, douchey. this place is like the Washington DC of doucheville. as a restaurant it's no good all around. but most people come here for the nightlife. if you like overly tan and dumb women then head on down. they actually charge 5dollars to go up to the second floor. it has a dance floor smaller than a child's bedroom and they offer nothing in the way of a nightclub. the bouncers act like assholes the entire time just standing around and pushing people out of the way with their sausage fingers. the drinks are seriously overpriced. i paid $29 for two vodka cranberries (not top shelf) and two cherry bomb shots. did the shots cost 10 dollars each and the drinks 4.50 each? wtf! never again love, juston
