by Tarra T. on Stayed here for a night over Labor Day and I was a satisfied girl. The hotel itself is beautiful and I think the service is fantastic. Our room was average size but the bathroom was small. Great location, right off of Hollywood Blvd. close to the Kodak Theatre, walk of stars, etc. There was a pool party on both Sunday and Monday. Ladies, bring your heels along with that cover-up and smallest bikini you can find because this ain't no regular pool party! We were only compt-ed two tickets to the party but my girl worked her magic and got us three. Otherwise, we would have needed to pay $30 and that didn't include alcohol or food. Foolishness! The party was chill and the DJ was good. As you would expect, drinks were expensive and the food was fairly reasonable. At one point I saw a family trying to get into the pool party and I think security steered them away. I thought to myself, why would you stay in Hotel Debauchery with small children!?!?! Lol. Overall, good stay for a group of girl friends or couple. I would not recommend to families...
by Bryon Berkowitz on For a few years, this used to be one of the best kept secrets of nightlife in Hollywood. I remember going to quite a few red carpet events here, or walking in on off nights and sitting at a table next to a celeb. Nowadays, it's still an interesting crowd and a pretty venue. I think mainly bc it wasn't overhyped. They continue to attract a solid mostly pretty crowd and not douche it out completely. I'm not afraid to get stabbed and I can actually look forward to hanging with pretty and fun people here. I guess people still fight to get in and pay covers, although I always just walk up to the venue and breeze right through. The staff is semi- friendly (best you can expect from a clubby spot,) and the drinks are typical Hollywood prices. Nothing new here. But the sheer size of this place makes it ideal for groups who prefer various things like smoking patio lounge vibe vs. inside dance it up clubby vibe. Either way, I'd go even though this place isn't in its heydey. And I'll probably even dress up in a tiny outfit too and not complain about wasting lip gloss.
