About a month ago, my friends and I bought a deal on buywithme for $100 for $50 - good for bowling and drinks :) Everyone who worked there was extremely helpful, bowling machines are complicated!

Someone took the former electricity spot and made it into a good bar with eclectic decor, good drinks, and kitschy turn of the century fare. Whenever I see the Absinthe fairy, I laugh and then hold my breath to see who'd be dumb enough to drink something that strong. Mostly I just see people trying to stare at the fairy and figure out what the hell she's supposed to be. Keep drinking... maybe it'll become clearer. Smoking is upstairs, table service isn't bad, and the private room is not that expensive but worth it to seclude yourself for bday parties and such. Although in the private room the service is sloooow. Here's a tip: order like 2 or 3 drinks at once so you're fine in between rounds before the waitress comes back. They also serve food here. I came early with friends one day and lo and behold, we could eat. It was ok, although the garlic fries were pretty much my favorite. I love garlic, though. The crowd is an eclectic mix of people working in the financial district downtown, the local Latinos, and the downtown hipsters. I guess there's a little bit for everyone here. I've seen people line up for blocks to get into this place and I hear they pay cover charges too. Imagine that. Ladies, leave the meat at home and you too can stroll up to the front and walk right in no matter how many people are in line.
