I've been here to dance and always enjoyed the beat. Hard to imagine this night spot can do brunch, and yet they pulled it off! There is no natural light inside but they were able to use the lighting to create a sunny day indoor for free flowing sangria and excellent food. For $26 we were overstuffed and buzzed.

A run-of-the-mill dive, but the boyfriend and I were looking for a place to grab a snack/couple of beers after a lazy afternoon in central park. Nothing spectacular here, but the staff at the bar were friendly and we actually stumbled upon their Saturday night power hour (8-9pm, $1 domestic drafts!) Not bad at all considering the tab for 7 beers and (very mediocre) quesadillas was only $16!!!

Here's the problem with sub sandwich joints. You look at the menu, and see "turkey sub". It has a list of ingredients. Then you go to the counter, and they ask you about every ingredient. You could say you wanted a turkey sub, and end up with a meatball wrap. At Jimmy John's, you can point ay the menu, grunt, and they'll hand your sandwich to you probably before you have time to fill up your drink cup. Perfect. Is the sandwich good? It's a sandwich. Bread, meat, sandwich stuff. Nothing to write home about, but given the convenience, it ends up being pretty satisfying.
