I like it most for it's location and for its friendly staff, particularly Tim, who is just the best hostel receptionist ever. They also have no lock out or cleaning hours, which is nice. And very clean bathrooms. Another plus. And the hostel promotes a good social atmosphere without being a party dump. Each night promises a different activity: ghost tour, pub crawl, open-mic night, wine receptions, etc. They have a nice kitchen downstairs, and offer breakfast (which I never got a chance to try). There are plenty of movies to watch and a pool table for those down times between sight-seeing. And comfortable couches near the tourist literature for browsing and waiting for fellow travelers to meet up. I was especially fond of the Couples Dorm on the top floor because the woman's bathroom was attached. Very convenient. And there were plenty of lockers to store away valuables. All in all, great hostel experience. And you can't find a cheaper more central place to stay!

I'm really surprised at the mediocre ratings this place has gotten for their pizza. Obviously, no one is trying the Midtown pizza. It is heavenly! Chopped tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese and garlic--what's not to love about that? I seriously get one about every other week. They also have some decent salads, decent beer selection, and plenty of outdoor seating. The neighborhood really needed this place.

If you're looking for a loud-ass place with sticky floors, drunk college students, and cheap drinks, this is your place. You can play pool, beer pong, and some other video games I never pay attention to...if you're lucky, you won't get into a fight with someone who has either spilled his beer on you, caught you eye'n his girl, or tossed his pong ball at you. This is a college students wet dream
