by Greg S. on It's always great when I have a chance to stop in at Martuni's. I love the chill vibe; I've never seen it so busy that it's too loud or difficult to find a seat. The drinks are super good! They have quite a variety of sweet ones, just to my liking. The Apricot Martini is fabulous as well as the Juicy Melons. They sure do pack a punch; a couple of these and you're good to go! The waiters are always dolls...just the nicest and very attentive. I never have to worry about the service here. Martuni's has a place in my heart...and my liver!

It's like Abba used to use this place as a secret hideout and eat perogies before inviting in all the "down" Kensington locals to boogie oogie in space or whatever Abba might do in a secret hideout. I have a room mate from a very Polish family so we always try to seek out authentic polish food, and I used to work a few blocks away. Everything we had was good and as Adriane (the Pol) would put it "just like grandma used to make." The one kind of pretty 35-ish short haired lady (she has the vibe of an owner) was kind of sassy (in you know, an endearing way) with some older gentleman customers, and she was attentive and really nice with us. If I hadn't ditched Kensington as a hell hole to work in, I'd probs stop in here for lunch now and again. I'm just curious to see what really goes on here at night...
