by Jacinto Mcmurdo on I love their dessert wine. So good. I spilled my first glass but the server didn't charge me for my clumsy mistake. He received a hefty tip. The atmosphere was very laid back. I liked that a lot. Nothing like going to crowded clubs, which I dislike. I will definitely come back.
by Lavern Chuma on Went here once with my friend from out of town last year. We were planning to go to Ruby Skye, but they were sold out so we ended up here instead. Line is horrible, the place was not even busy and we waited an hour in line. Bouncers are rude and intentionally slow. No cover though. It was guest list only but they let us in anyways. The decor is neat. There is supposed to be a slide in there, hence the name, but I do not remember it. Music was hip hop and house mix. $20 for two drinks, typical for SF. A lot of fun though, plenty of room, good music, and fun with friends. Recommend it, but have not returned since.
by regan g. on so back in '97-'98 out found out about this bar deep in the mission that had $1 beer and well drinks on mondays. when i went it was amazing. the place was filled with rowdy dykes and an early form of hipster. i got so wasted and every time i went i would sit in the back gazeebo/booth thingy and check out chicks with my friends maria, katy and liza. Good Times! now that i live on the bernal/mission border this place has great shows on sundays, cause they are free(mostly people i know tho) and the backyard has not changed. one night last spring, i got to play ms. pacman on the back wall outside. there are others but thats the best one. to get the controller you have to leave your id at the bar. $2 dollar drinks are in affect nowadays with $2 cover on mondays and it doesnt get shoulder to shoulder anymore thanks to the fire marshall. say hi to amy who might be working the door
