Great Place and I highly recommend if you are travel in NYC and staying in Midtown. I was at TAO on a Tuesday and the place was busy with a great vibe. I was in a party of 2 and we shared a few different items. Sushi and a Thai dish followed by the signature dessert item a GIANT FORTUNE Cookie filled with chocolate and white cream. The people watch was excellent and the drinks were even better. Go early and make it a dinner & drinks evening.

Did you say Niman Ranch Beef? Yeah- Niman Ranch Beef! In Nick's Crispy Tacos?! With almost 1300 rateclubs reviews for Nicks only a hand full of rateclubs reviews mention this... I went to Nick's a few weeks ago expecting some yummy street style tacos- What I ordered was definitely a gourmet interpretation! For my Girlfriend and I- Four tacos, a small horchatta, and one order of chicken Nachos came out to over $30! A bit more than the single '$' sign on rateclubs led me to believe. The Tacos were good- Picture: http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...I really enjoyed the guacamole. My Girlfriend got her tacos 'Nick's Way' so we could experience the crispy tacos everyone raves about(which is an extra charge)- but they tasted the same as my tacos did. There was either a small difference that we couldn't really notice, or they forgot to make them 'Nick's Way' because they tasted exactly the same- no crispiness :( However, I really enjoyed the Nachos. I like when restaurants use nacho cheese instead of melted shredded cheese- Nick's uses a very mild spicy nacho cheese! Nice! Look at the ooey gooey cheese lol http://www.rateclubs.com/bi... One thing that sucks is Nick's is CASH ONLY- I had to run across the street to Walgreens and pull out $40. For me, 3 stars is a positive review- I liked Nick's. Be prepared to drop between $4-5 per taco, but definitely order the nachos!
