IT IS WORTH IT:::: Everyone was friendly, People and staff included. Every level had something going on. Drinks weren't watered down like they can sometimes be in other NYC nightclubs. If you don't like House, Trance, Electro, You may find yourself out of place here, unless you're watching a live band in the basement.
by Roy Sparks on Rarely do I have such mixed emotions about an establishment. The venue, the talent and the sound system make me want to party until the sun comes up and then goes back down again. The crowd for the most part makes me want to flip out like a ninja and start kicking people in the face. The building is amazing and perfect for a club scene. It's still got the old school feel of the building yet is completely modernized with a thumping sound system you will not forget. Then there are the douche bags that are more often than not dominating every inch of the place. Lots of out of towners hear that this is "the club" to go to, so there's a lot of dressed up meat heads thinking they're required impress everyone. Sure sure, City people too, all gussied up in their freshly purchased overpriced striped/collared shirts. Not all the people are covered in lameness, there are some people there that just want to dance and listen to badass DJs. This place DOES land all the big names, hands down. If you go, just make sure it's for the music. I've been there many times, most recently Chris Lake who was amazing, you just got to tune out the annoying folk and have a good time. If you want to clear out a space on the dance floor for you and your crew to have a good time just speak a little too loud and say "Woah, someones giving away free coke in the bathroom??" Guaranteed half the club will make a break for it.
by Karen T. on I was here for 3 different events and every time was a good one! -Roots album listening party -Prince vs. Michael -Rock the Bells after party I was complaining about the seating before, but who cares when you're having fun dancing all night long! Every time I come here the crowd is real positive and no one is trying to start any mess, but I guess it depends on what event you're goin to... kinda determines what crowd you're gonna be around. And the lighting is pretty dope. I love how they have funky graphics projecting off the wall. It's trippy if you're drunk or on something hahah. The security is good peoples. And the bathroom STAYS CLEAN! MAJOR PLUS!
