Great music, good atmosphere, and within walking distance of Juicy Burger. Whats not to like?

Douchiest crowd I've ever bumped butts with.  $10 cover was not worth it.

There seems to be a wide variation of opinions on this place... my experiences have often been positive. My first time here was on a Friday, and I have since been back a few times on a Friday or Saturday. Here's what I like about the place: 1. Hot girls- sure, maybe I'm not talking to them, but they add to the atmosphere. It seems like every time I pass by the place, there are some cute girls, dressed up too much for most Mission Bars (other than the nearby Medjool) heading into the joint. Where they vanish to once they're inside I'm not exactly sure, but I figure why bother going to a nightclub and pay a cover if you don't even see any cuties that you wouldn't mind chatting up and/or dancing with? 2. Something for everyone- as some other reviewers have mentioned, there is a good amount of diversity here- white, asian, black, latin - which is nice when your black and white friends get tired of being dragged to an all-asian club where they stand a head taller than everyone else, or when you have to go the the marina or a kmel party and feel out of place. Diversity is a good thing! Let's embrace it! 3. Music- The back room is hip-hop. The front room, the times I have been there, has played some mash-ups and 80s and stuff, although there isn't much of a dance floor there, the stuff is dance-able in my mind. I don't know if the music is current or not- I'm admittedly not the most up-to-date on music, but don't you always hear the same songs when you go out anyway? Yeah, I wish I heard different stuff, too, but to me, as long as the vibe is right, I don't care as much if I'm listening to the latest and coolest music. If I wanted that I would stay at home and play with my ipod. 4. Interior- FUGLY or FUNKY the interior is a lot nicer than the place appears to be from the outside, and in my uninformed opinion probably better than most of the interiors of clubs in the Mission. So! Try it, you might like it. Oh, and there is one girl who bar tends there who is worth the $10 cover to holla at in my opinion. Sorry grrl, it's true! I bet you have enough phone numbers to start a douche-bag directory service. File me under 'H' for happy helperton, if I ever get drunk enough to try that mess with you! =)
