Were it not for the Hummer Limo which dropped off an entire load of Douche Bags, probably coming from the Lakers Game, The Edison would have gotten 5 Stars. What took me so long to come try this place? I'd been hearing about it for years and dismissed every possible notion that it was cool and worth checking out. Why, I'm not really sure, there are some very cool spots Downtown and this one is at the top of my list. First of all it has a dress code, and in the land that hipsters took over it's rather nice to see people who looked like they got dressed with the lights on, and a full length mirror at their disposal. The drinks, although pricey are delicious and the wings were note worthy, i mean worth returning for and eating again. The music was awesome and eclectic without being too over powering, so there was no shouting at the person next to you like you're at a night club. I loved it and I shall return!

I have never had a bad time at the Q and last night (Friday/hip-hop night) was no exception. Other folks have already laid it out with their glowing reviews, so if you want a low-key spot w/ great music, cheap drinks, real folks and no pretention, then the Q is your spot.

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 Stars is because it's probably not a place you'd want to go when it starts getting cold (but it might not even be open then) and if you're prone to motion sickness, it probably won't be the best place to go. Every time I've gone to the Frying Pan, I've had a blast and it has been packed. My ladies and I go for the Corona Bucket which has 6 beers for $35. We also indulge in the burgers and garlic fries which are delicious! Always a lively crowd and such a neat concept!
