by Lawrence Lindsey on So I went for a friend's birthday last weekend on a Friday. We got the largest room, which are all located upstairs. It had karaoke with up to date songs, sound proof walls, it was okay. We received all the soda we wanted, 3 fruit boat things, which were good :) I think we got 8? bottles of alcohol, including grey goose and johnny walker. Those were definitely watered down to the MAX. But what do you expect from a ktown club right? The dance floor is ridiculously small, but the club itself isn't all that big either. The venue is pretty nice, there are a lot of small booths everywhere near the dance floor. The whole booking thing, isn't really a big deal if you just know how to say NO. Yes, if you are a girl and you are by yourself or with another girl, you'll probably be grabbed by the wrist by some waiter. If you're not looking to get booked, just say no and be assertive about it. If you're going to say "No, it's okay....." then yeah, expect to be taken to a table. There's not much else to say about le cercle, it's nice, not the best, but it's cool if you want to go with a bunch of girl friends or whatever. I had a good time.
by John P. on go to buddha bar about 3 times a year id say when im gettin that urge for european dining.........by that i mean sexy atmosphere....pretty loud loungy music....and good food...the sushi is usually very good.....nice sake list....pretty quick service and seating....best nights are monday and tuesday...all other nights are amateur nights..as is all of manhattan....
by Chasidy Bickers on Any club that requires you going beyond your limits to get in, is not worth it. Money is king in this economy... if you have it, you should be able to go anywhere without too much headache. If you are a voyeur, I understand.... but those of us that are not, there are plenty of other lovely places to go to, where your self-esteem doesn't have to get damaged by making you feel like crap, make you wait in the line, when you own more property than the owners, and have a fat bank account... but you don't want to show that to get in. You want to get in because you're able to pay for your bottle, dinner and what have you. I stopped going out because of the arrogance in LA. I understand if youngsters want to go and show off their bodies and make up... and cute dresses..... but you're giving your money to people that are prospering from your shallowness. Keep that in mind!
