I went here the other day and I have to say that I'm quite surprised that there's a mechanical bull in the heart of Williamsburg. Interestingly enough, the place was completely empty on a Friday night at 8PM. I can only speak of the drinks as I did not eat here. The drinks were on the smaller side and not strong at all. Not really weak either, but for $8 a pop, I was expecting a bigger glass or more alcohol or something. They have standard beer on tap - nothing really popped out, so I ended up ordering my usual Blue Moon before I switched to liquor. The food smelled pretty awesome, but then again sizzling fajitas always smell awesome (to me). I suppose the real question here is why is this place completely empty during a prime dinner hour?

Not bad, depending on when you go. This is an after-work place my co-workers and I sometimes hit up on weeknights or Fridays, usually from around 6-7pm. Around 9:30pm, it becomes a full-on club with all the trendy LA people everyone on this site seems to love that gets QUITE crowded. That's usually when we bail. The weeknights also have mixed themes and activities. Sometimes its trivia night, other nights they'll have karaoke in the dance floor area. If there's a major LA sporting event, they tend to shut off all music and pump the game through the speakers and the 754 plasmas they have on the wall. Overall, not a bad after-work hangout. I'd say not the greatest nightclub, but then again, I'm not a huge fan of most nightclubs.

4.5 stars actually...Very impressed Lets start at the beginning.....we were seated about 30-45 mins after our reservation time....normally that would cost at least an entire star....but somehow it wasnt so bad...allow me to explain....the manager was very courteous and came around a couple of times to apologize and say that we will be seated shortly...also the people watching is good here...one of the few places thats trendy yet not uber-pretentious! So the food...its very very good...the wine that was recommended by the waiter was exceptional...very friendly waiter, btw...we did the taste of zahav....way too much food... hits...crispy haloumi (yummmm..best of the night) And what made it extra special was that the hostess stopped by for a 15 min chat towards the end of our meal...very informative on the history of the chef, etc...made us feel special! Only downside is that it can get pretty loud...although the ambiance is very romantic, the noise level doesnt make for soft conversation..
