by Modesto Meidlinger on My boyfriend & I went on a Saturday night a few weeks ago & we were promptly seated. We did not have reservations so we got a super tiny table where the dancing floor is located. There were a couple other tables in there...It felt a little strange but once we got our meals we were happy. We started off with the calamari...it could have been better. I don't mind tentacles but restaurants should keep them to a minimum because most people do not like them. I really dislike going to an Italian Restaurant & not liking the calamari. It's kind of sad. However, our meals were tasty. The wine was perfect for our meals & our desserts were definitely out of this world. We ate everything. I'll be back!
by Doug B. on My friend's band was opening for a burlesque show, but I couldn't have cared less about the burlesque show. Loved the ambiance of the place, they got the the goth thing down pat - the crowd wasn't too lively however. A number of decent looking women (and men, I guess - I never really can tell), but not a lot of intermixing. I guess goth's, by definition, aren't social and outgoing? After my friend's bad played, the burlesque show started, but the crowd was gathered around the stage so much that I couldn't see any of it, but I didn't really care at that point. But, like I said - a decent venue.
by Gerald Updegrove on My absolute favorite place in Philly! Three must-haves: Pod Lobster (orgasmic good...) Rockin Spicy Tuna Chocolate pudding The staff is super nice. I am also able to get the chef to make me some off-the-menu concoction based on my individual fantasies! Very cool! Did I say that the ambiance just rocks!!! Hands down the best sushi rolls I have had --ever---Morimoto not withstanding!!
