I sincerely regret not getting the name of my waitress at The Latest Dish on Saturday night. She was very friendly and helpful, and went a long way into making our experience great. Our empanadas came out nice and hot, and the avocado spread was an excellent addition. There were plenty of appetizing options on the menu and on special, but I had to go for my old standby: the salmon. Couldn't have been more pleased with it, but the sweet potato pancakes that came with it were the exceptional part of the meal. My gf, however, went for an very tasty seitan meatloaf that I immediately became jealous of. The beer selection was pleasing, with some good standbys (Bell's 2 Heart among them), and the always welcome inclusion of Sly Fox and Dogfish Head on tap. This was my second visit to Latest Dish, but my first as a rateclubser. Needless to say I was impressed this time, just as I was the first.

I went to Fluid with my man in the colder winter months. The first time we attempted to go, it was so tucked away, we never ended up going that night. We decided to try again. We went on a Saturday night. The cover wasn't too bad. I got a drink, I don't remember it being particularly strong. We went upstairs to lounge and cuddle up for a minute or two. Then the music got fly, then I had to dance. So, yeah, it's a good club, because the music that was played was very good. I believe Questlove was DJing that night, too. I had a request but It wasn't played, but oh well. Mixed crowd and I always appreciate that. Have fun.

I was offered to go here a month ago, but then I thought this placed was full of drunks and rowdy people, so I declined. Finally gave in few days ago and experienced something different. I would say the age group started in the mid to late 20's, people were chill, mature, enjoying their time, having some alky, busy chatting and looking around. Good: -$10 for a night at the museum, it's cheap! -No kids running around and screaming -Free parking, don't bother with the parking lot, plenty of street parking -Music was pretty good Bad: -Foods were pricey and meager -Drinks were also over priced. -Ratio for anything with tonic was off, I guess that there wasn't any drunk there. -Cash bar Come early, there were plenty of parking on the Richmond side of the street.
