Mc Govern's Enterprises is the parent company of Mc Govern's Club & Restaurant, and Mc Govern's Motel & Extended Stay Suites. Mc Governs is located in Sun Praire, six miles east of Madison, Wisconsin. A family owned and operated business established in 1935 by Al Mc Govern. McGovern's Club and Restaurant offers a casual, friendly atmosphere to enjoy eating and drinking with friends and family. Relax and dine and drink inside in our sun room or outside on our deck. Mc Govern's has three bars and three big screen t.v.'s to watch your favorite sprorting events. Also reknowned for our prime rib o'hare sandwiches, burgers, and new york style buffalo chicken wings. Mc Governs also affers a full menu featuring steaks, seafood, lunch and dinner specials. Adjacent is Mc Govern's Motel and Suites. Mc Govern's offers clean comfortable rooms at affordable rates. Our extended stay suites are large and well appointed.
by Irwin Eva on Tao is Tenjune with great food, a better bar and tourists galore, which makes for great people watching and people watching you will because this isn't the place to go to enjoy what your dining compatriots have to say--because you cant hear over the boom-chicka-boom techno music blasting out of every corner. Here is my issue with the service. If you are going to be insane about reservations and being on time, seat me and my party on time instead of 1/2 hour after our reservation time. My friends and I are important--act accordingly. The ambiance is amazing and I totally feel like I'm in a restaurant in Vegas. The food was surprisingly delicious. We had the chef pick our menu as our group was about 10 people and they made excellent selections. It was a great selection. 2 words and a definitate must try: SEA BASS! Incredibly done and glazed with sweet perfection. Amazinggggg. We had some dumpling thingys, some spring roll thingys, sushi, pork fried rice, and some other pan asian fare and all in all it was delicious. I'm not one for huge, gargantian restaurants, but if i was to pick a walmart-esque dining establishment with excellent fare, i would choose Tao.
