Yum! Like home made. Freshly prepared crispy shell-stuffed with meat, salsa, guacamole, and cheese. Frickin delicious. Nice touch to put a soft shell around the crispy shell to diminish the "messiness" factor. Little pricey and be prepared to wait as it get's busy. Pleasant, cheesy, red velvet- chandelier -mexican decor...like northern Baja. The bar and sports tvs are a plus too.

YIKES ..just saw it on the news this place lost its food certification .....guess I have good instincts ?, can I take my ONE star away ? Lets call this place like it is. OVER PRICED .... IKEA light fixtures falling off the ceiling. $10.00 for all over ICED drinks Its going DOWN HILL fast ...in this poor economy where only the BEST of the BEST survive. I will NOT ever be going back there. Since they did not like my first honest review ..this is my second one ...if you really want to know how I feel about this place send me note & I will tell you priavatly.

I've been here twice now and there appears to have been some serious remodeling. I took note of said remodeling while drunkenly heading to pee in the previous bathroom which is now coat check. Woops. That could have been awwwwkward. I really like the venue. So many different little areas you can migrate to throughout the evening for different vibes. Head to the largish dance area with a stage to bust some moves, hang out up stairs by the pool table, sly little room in the back. There's more too, it's just unfortunately a tad blurry. The bartenders were very nice and helpful, I was impressed. They had some super ripped male dancers shaking it all over to the screaming glee of straight girlies and gay men alike. I'm straight and even I wanted to ask them how much they work out, friggen ridic. Anyway, it was good times at the Rateclub event and if something arises at The Cafe I would not hesitate to head on back.
