I'M A FAN... of the ladies! These women are so sassy and sweet. This was my second time at Asia SF, cause I HAD to take my Orange County girlfriends to SF's finest entertainment ;) I promised them a great time, and so they did. Our reservations were at 9:15, we showed up early and had a few drinks downstairs at their bar while we waited for our seats. The entertainment was so fun, and the service was great. The only "okay" part was the food, but I enjoyed the overall experience. We were the last set of reservations of the night, so I feel like the food might have been cooked earlier on in the night, and kept "prepped" for the rest of the night's reservations. It wasn't as fresh as I remembered it to be the first time I came here. I like to snack, drink, and cheer for sexy ladies, so needless to say, I had a great time. The owner and server gave us drink tickets to head downstairs to their bar after; for 6 girls, we ended up with a total of 8 or so drink tickets... it was great! We each paid $75 for the adorable show, dinner, and drinks (tax and tip included) I feel like it was worth it, the drink tickets were also a plus :) The ladies were so sweet, interactive, and personable... we really wanted them to just sit and hang out with us :) It's definitely a "must try" in my book.

Now this place is tucked in!! I was pleased to find parking next to the restaurant on Edgewood. What a beautiful place. Very nice looking on the inside. It's definitely not what you expect for that spot in the road. The food was very good. I had the Caribbean Shrimp and Grits. My food was a definitely 5 stars. It was a wonderful unique blend. It has quite a bite to it, so beware if you like things on the mild side. It was a dish that I asked for the jerk recipe. Very yummm. (I didn't get the recipe:(. Too many ingredients I was told) My partner had the Trout Benedict. This is a group of different meats and fruits that probably shouldn't be put together. Although each one separately tasted good, all together just plain weird. It was a sauteed piece of trout, with two eggs (that turned out to be over done and not over easy) placed on a piece of baked Papaya. She should have ordered the Plantain Pancakes! Cafe Circa is a nice place. It's more of an upscale spot in an up- and-coming area. The food was good, at least mine was yummy. Will I go again?? Probably not. I'm not a big fan of dressed up Island food. I prefer the real deal.

so I was told by Cas and Dane (co-owners/biz partners) that i was the first costumer named Sloane when i ordered a drink to put on my tab. I got a free shot out of it! =P that was cool. So the place is called Sloane named after Sloane Square in London! =D The good: Awesome DJ tonight, DJ Storm is whats up! The decor is pretty cool. The front door is immaculate, I LOVED it. Beautiful high ceiling. The wooded walls are all made of restore/recycled wood--huge plus. A too cute mezzanine with DJ booth. Lots of space to dance and chill. Coat check in the back. The door dudes were funny, friendly and professional. Way diverse crowd, which is refreshing for sure. The bad: No seating unless you reserved a table. The unisex bathroom [don't mind] but the "outdoor" mirrors and sinks are kind of a bummer...not sure if boys know this but...girls not only go to the bathroom to pee but also to gossip and fix hair/makeup--privacy in that area helps the process a little. The ugly: Man, the bartenders were nasty tonight! Not sure if it was the vibe they all started the night with or what but we got a chance to hang and chat with the owner [awesome dude] so no worries there. The smoking area doesn't seem as ventilated as other smoking sections are, not sure why, there is plenty of windows to open higher up the walls. I'm definitely going back to Sloane for sure..thinking about planning my 23rd birthday to be there...I somehow feel obligated =P
