My friends and I went here on Saturday and had a great time! We got on the guest list so free entry! I liked the atmosphere the club gave off and the staff was really nice. I LOVED the music (mostly house) and the small small stage haha. It got super crowded around 12, so much so it was hard to move around the club. We had so much fun though! I do wish it was a little bigger, and parking seems like it would be really difficult.

Solid Mexican food, no Tex-Mex here! We went for lunch in order to kill time before seeing Dialogue in the Dark. The inside of the restaurant is quite nice. An airy setup complete with a neat wall of cascading water and a grid of divers plunging down - okay I'm not good at describing things. I ordered the signature pomegranate frozen margarita. It was perfectly tart and did NOT taste like it came out of an Oasis machine. Next the chips and salsas came. The tortillas were authentic and salted so well I could have made a meal out of them. The tamatillo salsa was a little too spicy for me but the other salsa offered had a wonderful smoky flavor and less heat. For entrees we tried the mole de xico and chicken tacos. Both dishes were great!! The mole is a difficult flavor to describe, but I loved it paired with the shredded beef. The chicken tacos were served with a nice sauce and some cream of corn dish. The chicken had a great char and it all went so well together. We even loved the house rice and refried black beans I realize the prices are higher at dinnertime, but be sure to check them out if you want some high-quality Mexican fare.

I want to give it four stars because the place definitely LOOKS great, from the high ceilings, to simple/modern wooden decor, to the black leather couches, and upstairs VIP area, but last night didn't make it feel four-stars worthy. In fact, while I was walking around the place, I was muttering to myself "2 stars, 2 stars". But probably because of the ugly, catty bitches that were at that spot, haha! Really, I'm trying to get a drink, and this girl who was leaning at the bar with drink already in hand was like, "EXCUUUSE me." Excuse ME? Excuse YOU! Bitch, you don't even have eyelids! That aside, I was thinking drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but the bartenders actually made all my drinks delicious and the buzz got me going through the rest of the night. The bouncers outside were really nice too. Not sure if I'd go back though. Sloane is pretty small and there wasn't much of a dance floor. The VIP area upstairs is entirely reserved seating, so there's only one real place to sit, which is downstairs near the entrance. It's more of the place to go in and have a few drinks and dress nicely, but not much else.
