by Kayte H. on Me: Hi, can I have a vodka soda? *bartender pours a tiny vodka soda* Me: here you go *hands bartender five dollar bill* Bartender: Sorry, that wont cover it. Me: Are you serious? Bartender: Well, this IS Pure. REALLY? I'm sorry, isn't this the Pure of the 25 cent Sundays? The "Washington" Wednesdays? Of the tackiest decor I've ever encountered in Austin? Oh, I'm sorry, it's not? I would have thrown my drink at him if it hadn't been so overpriced. Mind you, I never go to this club without being forced, but six dollars for a watered down drink at a NOT fancy club is kind of outrageous. To give you an idea of the type of people you will meet there, the second I walked in, I was hit on by two guys wearing their Bluetooths. At a club. WOW. I then headed upstairs to see several people that looked about my grandma's age violently grinding against each other on the dance floor. There is a priceless picture someone took of my sister and my expressions when we saw this. Her jaw is on the floor and I am covering my face. We are still recovering. I was dragged back on one of the mythical 25 cent or dollar days, but they always try to up-sell/sneak extra charges in. You get two stars because I like the color blue.
by Liz L. on We went to LA for spring break and we came to Mood on a thursday night.. the crowd was mainly asian.. the venue was really nice.. someone grabbed my friend's butt.. but I guess thats what you gotta expect when you go to a club.. the smoking area had a bar and the ceiling was open.. we had fun.. we also went on a night that someone got stabbed.. outside of geisha house.. hollywood is crazy
