TAO is a place that you go if you want to enjoy the ambiance. The food is pretty boring and standard Asian food with a few tricks up its sleeve. If you want to impress someone, take them in for an overpriced drink and show them the Giant Golden Buddha in the middle of the room. Service is really slow and the servers seem inexperienced! A little too pretentious for my taste.

I liked this place. Coming from San Diego this place really felt like it was a Southern California fancy club without all of the Southern California fancy douchebags. Or Southern California fancy prices. 7 mixed drinks for $55 (including 3 Red Bull & Vodkas)? Yes please! The music was good...all though I wished that I could have checked out the "techno" room more in depth. The main room had the typical Top 40/Rap/Mashup stuff going on which I don't really see as any sort of negative. Big clubs play that because thats what most people want to hear when they go out. Anyway, save your money on Friday nights! Sign up on the guest list and get there before or right at 11! You get in free. It's kind of dead but the place definitely picks up around 12:30.

This place is awesome. Its a nice place (not a dumpy dive crap hole) that caters to cool/regular people. Decor is great, food is surprisingly great, huge liquor selection, tons of beers on tap, great prices and the staff is very nice. You can hang out here all night and still have rent money left for the month.
