by Danielle C. on First off, I have never in my life met a staff that was as accommodating as the staff at lime. I was sincerely amazed! I came here on a Saturday night for my birthday just to grab drinks and some small plates. I had a reservation at 8:30 for a party of 8 but unfortunately our taxies got stuck in traffic so we didn't arrive until 9. I prepared myself for the usual rude host/hostess letting us know that we missed out on our reservation and we were SOL but to my surprise the host was extremely understanding and immediately starting seeing what he could do for us. Since it was pretty busy when we showed up, all the tables were full which he apologized for but then arranged for us to set up our own table in the waiting area. Next thing I know he politely asked people to leave the area and brought over chairs and menus so we could start ordering and even stood in as our waiter from time to time! That's not even his job! The bartender was extremely nice too. Even though he was really busy he didn't make it seem like you were bothering him with any of your requests. I enjoyed our food and drinks as well but for them most part, I give this place 5 stars on their customer service. I wanted so badly to tip our host for the night but I had no cash on me =( Thank you mystery host for making my almost ruined birthday a wonderful night!
by Hassan Hammed on I celebrated my last few "single-status" weeks in Miami, FL. Mansion was definitiely a top spot for me and the girls to hit up. Upon arrival, we were immediately escorted to our VIP area which overlooked the crowd below us. Not baaad!! Bottle service was excellent and the music was awesome - all hip/hop, R&B and tunes from back in the day when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore..... ;) The space is beautiful but tends to get a bit too misty with all that fog-type substance floating in the air. *arms waving* "I'm over here!" The place was super packed (of course), however, since we had our own VIP spot, it didn't matter to us! Shot after shot, after chug, after chug. Now EVERYONE is pretty! At one point, one of my girls hops on top of the speaker box and starts wildin' out. I thought, "Oh damn, we 'bout to get kicked out!" 10 minutes later, I see Mr. Bouncer approaching our area and says, "Excuse me, please.......remove your shoes." What?! WOW! And here I thought we were gettin' kicked out for simply dancing on the speaker box. NOPE. We just had to REMOVE OUR SHOES. LOL. Now, if that was the Bay Area, we'd be ASSED OUT! Sooo....what more can you ask for? Good music, beautiful people, spacious venue and unlimited go-go dancing on the speaker box! Unfortunately, since I can't remember ALL that happened, except falling over and waking up with 3 bruises (ouch!), overall, Mansion is definitely a spot I'd hit up again!
