This place just opened in Town and Country now also known as The Palms. I give it 4 stars for the great atmosphere and decor. The outdoor seating has a great view to the lake at town and country and makes you almost feel like you arent in kendall. You also have your own bar outside with seating all the way around and plenty of tables (some with comfy plush booths) Well done with the outdoor section! The inside is pretty damn nice as well..if im not mistaken I think there are at least 2 more bars inside...plenty of seating and a stage. We went for happy hour on a Thursday, wasn't planning on eating anything but we did end up having two orders of their spinach dip (yum!) ... However, I was very disappointed that they had NO BEERS ON DRAFT and had like four options for bottled (I guess thats why its called blue MARTINI they have like 20 something martinis).......One thing I did like though was the bill...EVERYTHING including food is half off until 8pm for happy hour. Definitely a cool comfortable and stylish place to have a drink or two after work, and a nice alternative to Gatsbys .

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. I was impressed with the beer list and the "make your own bloody mary bar." The service was excellent from both the waitress and the bartender. Our food was good as well (I had the Monte Christo and my husband had the fish and chips). Will definitely stop by next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Oslo is one of those special places you wish there more of , but that wouldn't make them very special would it? Every time I'm in Detroit I go to Oslo except for that one year when it was closed. :( The downstairs is where it's at. The bar has a killer beer selection and the times I've spent there were special. Wether it was Richie and Luciano's unofficial afterhours after the festival one year or Cheap Sunglasses this year it's always been a place I look forward to visiting and if you get hungry the sushi is pretty damn good and one thing I think you can only find in detroit is when the kitchen closed , one year the sushi chef was warming up downstairs for the next dj to come on. Seriously?! come on. I can't wait to go back.
