by Marty S. on KoKo is a very upscale dive bar.... The décor was nice and dark, with a trippy old movie playing on the back wall. The drinks had a great ratio of booze to mix for $4.00. I will most definitely be back. It's a great place to go to before or after eating at Tommy's Joynt, which is just up the street. Note: the doorman gave us some great tips on other dive bars to go to in the area and areas to stay away from. Geary St. is somewhat on the edge of the Tenderloin part of SF. 5 out of 5 stars for sure.
