by Crystal S. on I just visited this place for the first time this last weekend and was very happy to see that there were plenty of TVs which was perfect for watching the game; the drink selection was pretty ok as well. The bar is small, so it can get packed pretty quickly, leaving only standing room. The free popcorn was nice, but as for the food food, I wouldn't waste your money. The pizza looked pretty good, but I tried out the philly cheese steak sandwich instead. When it came out, it looked pretty pathetic. It looked like an over-microwaved hot dog bun with some meat in it, and that's exactly how it tasted; there were no onions or peppers as I typically expect phillys to have...My boyfriend went for the nachos. They aren't the kind of nachos that are loaded with goodies like olives and sour cream and the works; they are the kind of nachos you get at a gas station - chips, cheese, and jalapenos. Even though the food left much to be desired, the prices were awesome! If you're lookin for a place to just catch the game and a few drinks with a bunch of loud and energetic fans, this is the perfect place for such an occasion.
by Cythia Votta on Maybe my 1 experience isn't enough to rateclub about but since I won't be returning here it goes- I went to the Red, Yellow, Green light Event this past Saturday (3/14) and 1. The music sucked- it was reggaton and hip hop from 5 years ago- meaning its old- but not quiet old enough to be cool again- not that reggaeton was ever cool anyway. 2. Too bright inside (just like every other "club" in SF- whats up with that!?) 3. The crowd.....oh... where do i begin- Lets just say, it wasn't a meat market- where were all the cute guys? not here obviously- they must know better what a waste of makeup. Perhaps on a different night/event it's better...?
