I heard good things about Trinity. But what's with the low rating? Personally, I thought Trinity was great, one of the better clubs I've been to. It's a pretty cool multi-faceted nightclub. It has two rooms for dancing, a lounge area, and a VIP room. Plus, it's well decorated and has a "classy" vibe. We came here with a rather large group, so we had a fun time. We danced in the main room for most of the night (it played the top hits), and boyfriend and I wandered off to the blue room to take a breather (the blue room has chairs--YES!). Personally, I loved the blue room. First, it played techno/house music, which is the type of music I prefer to dance to, in the first place. Second, though it was a smaller room than the main one, it was less crowded (I hate when clubs get so crowded you can barely move!--I need my space to dance!). Third, the flashing lights didn't hurt my eyes (may seem like a small concern, but I was seriously annoyed by the obnoxious flashing lights in the main room). The blue room is really cool. Next time we go to Trinity, that's where we're staying. The main room wasn't so bad. It was fun because we had good company, but honestly, the music that night wasn't that great. But, I am a fan because of the blue room! Boyfriend liked it, too. Trinity is a keeper!

Ducked in here at a painful hour of the morning on Sunday after an errand in Union Square.  It was raining and grey and we were just really pleased to see they were open! We ordered a coffee and an hot apple cider with a couple of toasted bagels with butter and sat down on one of the lovely cream colored leather couches right by the beautiful fireplace. The mugs of hot coffee and cider were very generous and the cider even came with a lovely cinnamon stick - nice touch!  Bagels were good and we really enjoyed lingering in the sleek decor in front of the fireplace on a cold rainy day. I say this is a must-go if you're in the neighborhood at the crack of dawn  and bonus points on being open so early!  I would definitely check it out at other times as well if I were nearby.
