by Kristina M. on I know that when some places do Groupons, the reviews can be mixed. For what I got with the Groupon, I wasn't that impressed. The Groupon was a "five course dinner for two with champagne". That's a bit misleading, since you buy it thinking that you each get your own five course meal of your choosing. A girlfriend and I went, only to find out that it was five tapas plates that were PRE-SELECTED (with no offer for substitutions without an additional charge). I mean, what if I weren't a red meat eater? I would have been SOL. I want to rate this restaurant 4 stars because it has the POTENTIAL to be great, but the Groupon was totally misleading. I'm sure if I were to come here without a Groupon (and to try the brunch) it would have been great. Because even though I didn't get the food of my choice, it was still good. I'll definitely come back to see what the brunch hype is about, then hopefully give Lime the 4-5 stars it deserves.
by Tia M. on wow this place got a facelift. what used to be the ghost town of paco paco reinvented itself as rips and its been packed since. it still has a dive bar feel but smells less like one. Drink specials were pretty good when you could get the bartenders attention and lets just say they make em to put hair on your chest here. its still new so no idea if they'll be able to keep the energy up but so far so good.
