by Amanda P. on Such a San Francisco feel. One of our six happy hour destinations for the night. Hidden down the alley, so we almost missed it, but very cool when we walked in. Art on all of the walls, a few cocktail tables, and a large bar. We went early and saw that a band was setting up for later. There wasn't really anyone there when we got there, but in a matter of 45 min, (around 5:30) most 9 to 5ers were off work and hittin' up the happy hour drinks. I must say, the beer was good, and CHEAP!! Cool atmosphere for the time we went.
by Kathrine Illescas on I was up visiting SF from L.A. and got invited to Trigger on a Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised - it was full of hot guys, about early 20's to late 40's, a good mixture, and rather diverse as well. It's a pretty small place with a small dance floor and an upper level. The music was LOUD, much too loud, and too high energy for my taste - I much prefer house music. But was still ok and most of the guys there were diggin' it. There were some pretty decent stripper guys and even one gal - there were a few girls there too. The door guy was exceptionally handsome and kind, as were the 2 guys who took the $8 cover from me and gave me a wristband. The coat check girl, on the other hand, was a real B with a major attitude. Note to you, coat check girl: if you don't like your job, QUIT. I had only wine to drink, which a glass was $6 - average i guess. The bartenders were hot and nice. Overall I had a really good time. Got there about 11:30 and it was filling up fast. About 1am it was TOO crowded and the dance floor became more of a moving mass of people trying to get thru the club, with people pushing me right and left. But I'd say the vibe overall was fun and friendly, and did I mention the hot guys? Definitely the best club I went to in SF.
