by Jen R. on Nice ambiance, but awfully bland food. My veggie burger was sawdusty and flavorless - it was coming apart and mushy. Everyone else's food was pretty bad as well. The waitress was nice, though!
by Alexandra M. on This is a really really beautiful restaurant/bar. I love the music. I love love the drinks, especially the violet cocktail. I don't like girly drinks usually, but I had about three of those while I was in Austin. The food was good, but not so much compared to other dining experiences I had in Austin. Most noteably my date and I ordered a fish pie and found it to be full of potatoes. The service wasn't so great either. When we consulted the waitress and told her about our fishless fish dish, she doubted us immediately, but brought it back to the kitchen. She came back and basically said, "Like I thought, it had plenty of fish. But we're flexible so we'll take it off your bill". Yea, thanks lady. BUT, I'd go back here for the drinks and the live music. We saw a live swing performance and it really made my trip to Austin.
