This is one of my favorite places in Philly and I'm kind of surprised I've never reviewed it. If you're drinking, the limonana is a wonderful thing. It's refreshing and lemony and splendid in general. I always order the salatim, which comes with a variety of things. My perennial favorite is the taboule and the eggplant. Honestly, I could eat a bowl of the eggplant alone. Most of the other things change (I'm guessing seasonally). On a recent visit, the celery salad really stood out--it was spicy and refreshing and different. Also always get the hummus with laffa, I love the mosbacha with extra za'atar and schug (the condiments that come on the side). For small plates, I particularly recommend the haloumi, now with apple compote. So good, but make sure to eat it while its hot. Also the brussel sprouts with whipped feta, which made me rethink brussel sprouts but in a good way. And the cauliflower is excellent especially since I don't like cauliflower. For the al haesh the branzino and the short rib stand out to me. Desserts are not the main attraction here but the baklava and the rugelach were really good.

I dont dig club scenes anymore but this one given that I am at South Beach and again a new friend Dave (who is also a tourist from UK) suggested that we go here with another new friend (another tourist from Germany) and check it out. At the onset we saw 3 sexy lady girating on top of the bar to some reggaeton music or was it salsa...(very danceable beat..lol) and after their set 3 buffed hunks took the stage...apparently they are bartenders and at the same time puts up this show in between. The cocktails are alright (the mint in my mojito wasnt crushed thoroughly maybe because the bartender who made it was already buzzed from both the drinks and the dancing) either way the beer prices are ok to. Of my two -week stay in MIami I came here twice with different set of friends in tow. If you want to have a good clean fun and good time with good looking people and good music you should come here and shake that booty.

Six Feet Under arguably has the best outdoor deck seating in Atlanta. Where else can you have a tasty fried fish basket and raw oysters, drink a hoppy brew, ponder over state politics (the Georgia Capital Dome is in view) and cheerfully ruminate on your own mortality (the deck overlooks historic Oakland Cemetery)? Tad Mitchell of Heaping Bowl and Brew fame founded this southern roadhouse-style seafood place several years ago. It is a thriving business and really contributes to the fabric of the Grant Park and Cabbagetown communities. This one is surely destined to be an Atlanta dining classic. It is only a few years old but already has the patina of a multi-decade local's favorite.
