I really like this place, its a fun atmosphere for dancing salsa. They have two classes on Saturday nights for beginner and intermediates. Then they open the spaces up for anyone to dance, its a really cool atmosphere, because not everyone is advanced, which makes it fun. The classes can help you tell who is at what stage too if you really want to do a lot of practicing. This is a great place for a beginner to practice. I should be coming here much much more often. Frozen margaritas are delicious too.

Any place that can make up a tasty cucumber-jalapeno infusion _just_for_me_ cannot end up with less than 4 stars. Thanks helpful bartender Dave. Upstairs = Cocktail lounge Downstairs = crowded dance floor I'm a little surprised with all the negative reviews. They didn't charge me any cover. They made me perfectly acceptable cocktails, at perfectly acceptable prices ($12, come on), and there was never a wait for the bathroom on a super crowded night. The music turned from funk to pop during the course of the night. When I stepped downstairs I danced to the latest hits. It was very crowded but I was too smashed to notice. Of course, someone suggested shots after I'd already had way too much, and that's the last thing I remember. It must've been good.

Gay Thursdays are pretty good. The dance floor is too small, but in general it's not too bad. The bartender, I think James or Rob (his drinks are so good I forget his name) is one of the sweetest, most sincere people in Boston, especially for a bartender. Careful of the upper floor and the creepy trolls who like to stare down at the shirtless twinks. Also the back hallways usually smell like vomit, Red Bull, Abercrombie cologne and lost innocence.
