by Miranda R. on Not exactly over priced, more like just generally over. It's a scene that isn't a scene anymore, and now its just sort of full of tourists and old people. The food is not good, neither are the drinks, and its just crowded and loud for no real reason. As a side note, the whole "Tao" / "Yin/Yang" / Vaguely Buddhist motif is sort of almost super insensitive. Tao represents everything that Buddhism isn't-- namely the heights of materialism and desperation.
by Iesha Colins on I've stopped by here several times over the last year or so since it opened up in its current incarnation. Wed nights are good as I've been there for the Le Boom party and the food is also delish here. A nice liitle joint with the underground feel since it literally is underground in the back.
