Wait!!!!! Before you read my review-- know that this is only for KASKADE. I came to Ruby Skye to see Kaskade on Friday, November 20, 2009. I entered. I saw the drunks, I saw the snobby assholes. I heard the drunk girl behind me in the bathroom saying "I gotta pee HEeeeeeeELLUUUUHHHH bad" 8 times. I had my goose on the rocks. Then Kaskade came on. I had my flip video ready. Move For Me. The crowd going wild. The bass was knocking hard as F. Nothing else mattered. I only came for him. Then a girl spilled her whole cocktail on my legs and heels. My favorite heels. All night long and the crazy drunks going at it. the BASS. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM What night. What a night indeed. Despite all the pushy drunk guys and gals, Kaskade KILLED it. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM I will only go here for the DJ's, screw everything else. I can't wait to see Kaskade again. Check my youtube for videos from Friday night. http://youtube.com/use... BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM EDIT: ruby skye itself is a nice venue, with a great sound system, but the crowd is kinda whack. there isn't really any general seating area either. when i went on friday night, the guy to girl ratio was about 10:1. the drinks are about $10+, but it's expected since a lot of world class dj's spin there. people in the crowd tend to be a bit rude and snobby as well. drinks spilled around me 3 times... it was so annoying! if you go, just expect to see a lot of loud and obnoxious drunks. i would definitely go back to see the big acts though.

Friendly and awesomely appointed dungeon which serves as the hub of the San Francisco kink community. Almost every day of the week there is a workshop or play party, with a jawdropping variety of options but many of the same friendly faces. For anyone involved in the BDSM Scene (or who would like to become involved), the Cit, and the detailed calendar on its website, is indispensable. Many of the Cit regulars grab a bite or a cup of joe before heading to the dungeon at Wicked Grounds a few blocks away ( http://www.rateclubs.com/bi...) .

Dude, I thought they were going to show me some so-cal DEEEEEEEEEEEEP house?? I came here expecting flutes, bongos, remixed disco tunes and shit!!!! Instead you give me some friggin PROGRESSIVE house for the whole night!?!?!? I think a previous reviewer mentioned this too??? The club itself is nice. I liked the dark, dingy and low key environment. I just didn't care too much for the crowd or (maybe it was just that night) the music. Blah. Next time I'm down south I'll try it out again????
