by Angila Conder on One of the best spots in town to drink and dance. Now fully equipped with Turbo Sound. I host an event here for my record label, and I think I know most of the people who throw parties here. It's a "family" kinda spot, run by some amazing people. This is definitely an SF destination. It's right smack in the middle of the loin, and on any given night you know you'll get some amazing food, drinks, company and music.
by Caridad Markve on Avoid it if you can. If you must go, skip dinner and go after 10pm for so-so drinks, decent entertainment, and the strange space. Went here for a birthday treat. The food was utterly disappointing. A four course, overpriced, uninteresting, unsophisticated, menu that reinforced regret of our restaurant choice with each bite. The amuse bouche was practically inedible! Dessert was vanilla ice cream in a dog bowl. I felt like the joke was on us, especially when the bloated bill came.
by David N. on I walked into this place at about 10:00pm on a saturday night with my gf, asked the bouncer whether there was a cover charge who wasn't sure if there was. There did end up being a cover charge after we entered the door but it was cheap so no big deal as it was $5 a person. Since it was soooo easy to find parking around the area $10 for both me and my gf was not a problem! The photo booth is awesome, my gf and i took some pictures in there and it was a lot of fun.. definitely made this place a more fun experience and not just another club/bar/lounge. The men's bathroom has a cool one way mirror. No line at 10 - 11pm.. just in and out.. same for women's! It wasn't crowded at 1030pm but it was getting to be more people around. Love the vibe. Asked the girl bartender if she had any recommendations on tropical drinks for my gf and she said she could make anything.. so i just said sex on the beach on the rocks for the gf. I had a gin and tonic with splash of cranberry. She initially made it with not enough cranberry so I had her put in some more. She was totally copacetic with it so she made it happen. Both drinks ended up really good. I like i like. techno music goin on.... with some asian kung-fu flick on the screens.. awesome i love it. You can definitely hold a decent conversation!! Unlike other places where they bust the music so loud you have to literally scream at the top of your lungs to hear your friends talk. Okay i'm buzzed as i write this but i swear this is a good joint to hang out!! Towards the end there was a few girls dancin around and then a guy... that's all i can remember right now. I definitely would go again as a place to chill. ciao!
