by Dick K. on Went for Bootie tonight, and it is supposed to be $6 if your there before 10 pm. Traditionally, the venue sends someone to the end of the line at 10 to mark where it is, but Mezzanine didn't. Instead, at 10:03 they charged us full price even though we had been there since 9:45ish. Very lame. Drink prices were a bit excessive as well. $28 for two mixed drinks, with a $20 minimum and automatic 20% gratuity. Bootie deserves better.
by Adell Kondos on Hard to get into. We knew someone otherwise I am not sure if we would have gotten in. Once inside it was totally fun. I thought the music was amazing- anything from Led Zeppelin to U2 to hip hop. It is pretty small inside, but it didn't seem overly crowded where it gets annoying. The drinks were nice and strong. I would totally go back. People seemed friendly inside.
