I was looking for a place close to the movie theater to eat and ended up choosing the Burger Palace on Bobby's name alone. I fully expected it to be way more expensive than it was when I walked in, so seeing the prices on the wall lower than my expectations was the first good sign. I'd just started dieting when I was visiting, so I had a little anxiety about whether or not I'd be able to stick to it. They have an option where you can get any burger on a bed of green salad with a light balsamic dressing, which is what I opted for (with the Turkey cheeseburger). This was quite possibly one of the best turkey burgers I've had in a really, really long time. The salad was good and the dressing didn't even appear to really be on there, til you actually take a bite. It was refreshingly light. The staff was really helpful and I enjoyed the environment as well. Can't wait to visit again!

Urban bars like this are a rarity in the Flatiron District, too bad someone else can't come up with something similar to give them a run for their money.  Situated right next to equally the equally drub bar Rogue, this place can attract lines of young professionals ready to mingle in this hip-hop, raggaeton bumpin bar. The decor is dark, intimate, even comfy in some respects.  With all of the couches, tables and random chairs, this place could be a hell of a Starbucks.  But throw in the sports on TV and alcohol instead of coffee, you've got yourself Wish 26. Their biggest flaw?  Service.  The prices are solid and so are the drinks.  Even being in a big group isn't enough for some cocktail waitresses to forget and stray to other needy folks.  Originally I thought they needed more help, but even on a busy night with 3 bartenders and 3-4 cocktail waitresses, they still somehow failed to provide good service.

Mmm a good greasy spoon to put something in the belly after carrousing in the Highlands.  I recommend leaving VA Highlands just before last call so you don't have a long wait here.  Waiting to be seated somewhere at 3 AM makes me switch from euphoric to cranky mode pretty quick, and no one wants to see that!!
