I've visited Trudy's countless times during my education at UT, but it is exactly as what 3 stars tell "eh, it's ok." They have their famous Mexican Martini's for $5 on Tuesdays. I drank 2 without food and didn't feel drunk at all. BUT it was so tangy and sour to the point my teeth started hurting. As for food, their famous fried avacado dish wasn't at all as tasty as other avacado dishes at other restaurants and they charge $15 for small portion. It's often busy but only because it's in a very busy residential area with no other decent Mexican restaurant to compete with. Not my favorite Mexican restaurant.

okay so the novelty of the theme wears off in about 45 seconds and you're suddenly left wondering why all your money is gone. also, what kind of wizard/genius put speakers directly over the bar, blasting downward at the bartenders & patrons?? i got the wrong drink twice, and i can't even blame the bartender. this is a no-go.

If you are on the guest list, don't buy drinks, and can not tell when many security cameras and security people are watching your every move you might actually find this place great, but that is probobly just nostalgia for when it was the Q or rock city, and they did cool events before they sold out! cover $25 and up drinks $12 measured Parking $20 security- fucking everywhere acts- big names that hit their prime 10 years ago crowd- the VIP is often okay, (because it is populated by the fans of a local act on a guest list otherwise-Pill B said it best- douchbag heaven sell out rating - 120%
