by Nicole S. on I came here for the first time and had little expectations for what this place would look like inside. This venue is known for having special performances, in this case I was here for Souls of Mischief, so I expected a small, dirty, club-like space. Instead I walked into a large room that was decently decorated with a top floor overlooking the dance floor and stage. Don't be surprised if you end up circling and circling the area for parking, as it's usually difficult to find parking in the area. The bathroom was larger than most club bathrooms so don't worry too much about having to wait in longer lines. Drinks are priced the same as a regular club ($11 for a shot of Remy) BUT (here's the large, you've been warned, BUT!) bring cash!! If you pay by credit card, they automatically charge you 20% gratuity. That's total bs! If it wasn't for this, I'd probably rate this place 4-4.5 stars, but 20% gratuity?! Cmmon!
by Deedee Lees on This place use to be Garden of Eden, that is until Dodd Mitchell worked his magic on it and turned this outdated venue into a venue that, well basically looks like a house. A really $$$ house that is, with each corner of the venue resembling specific characteristics and sections of a real house. Even outside the venue, where you wait in line, the floor is lined with fake grass. Genius concept. Only thing though. When it's filled with partygoers, all that beautiful detail is lost. Just looks like another Hollywood venue. I had the pleasure of attending during the first week of it's grand opening when they were only throwing private parties, but I believe it's now open to the public. It's that typical, "Buy a few bottles, know someone or be with a bunch of hot bitches," Hollywood door policy. You know the deal. Not my usual scene, but check it out for the venue.
