by Katherina A. on I went there on a Tuesday night when they were playing hip hop/jazz. My boyfriend and I both loved the music. They had a good selection of food on the menu. My food looked a lot better than it tasted, which is why I'm giving it four stars. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely go again, and try something different on the menu.
by Kristina Geis on I really feel that without the ambiance and decor of this restaurant, it would be just another eatery. It certainly captures the Moroccan vibe but lacks in other areas. Maybe I chose the wrong dish, or maybe I just went on a bad night. Regardless, I ordered the seared Duck Di Veneto and was fairly let down when I tasted the polenta and realized it was cold. The duck definitely wasn't as succulent as I hoped it would be and without the grilled radicchio, I feel the dish would have been a total disaster. Lastly, the server had a slight attitude and was very pushy when it came to ordering drinks and dessert. I feel that there is only a small chance I may return to Tangerine.
