by Cesar C. on As soon as you walk through the doors of Martuni's, you instantly feel a very laid back, yet sophisticated, martini spot. The aesthetic of the place is very calming, the lights are very dim, providing a more intimate feel, and there is good music playing. They also do some karaoke, with a twist...they have a live pianist playing the karaoke songs. The martini's themselves are great! They have a good selection, moderately prices, and they burst with flavor! My friends and I had a great first experience there and we can't wait to go back!

Make a stop at the corner liquor store for some liquid courage and make some friends in line. 2) Cost.. affordable tix prices to check out great bands. When in doubt, purchase the tix ASAP. Shows get sold out fast and you're left purchasing overpriced tickets on craigslist. 3) Coat check.. essential if you are waiting forever in line in the cold and need a place to stash your jacket before getting your boogy on. $2/article of clothing. 4) Great artists.. both opening bands and headliners. I've seen Common and Gaga here and have wanted to catch countless other performers. 5) Bring your dancing shoes... be prepared to bob your head, thrust your hips and shake your a$$. Enough said!
