Me and three of my friends hit up the Velvet Room on a Friday night. We went after midnight and there was a short line.We all felt that we should have charged security for the cavity check she performed to let us in. However, the deejay was on point and the cocktails were a bit high, but they had plenty of alcohol so it was worth it. We had a good time and I didn't feel the club was ghetto.

I really like this venue. Came here for the Directions in Sound event for the SFIAAFF and really enjoyed it. They have two separate rooms and two bars. Wasn't overly crowded and you could actually hear and see the person you were talking to. Lots of seating space. Would definitely come back to check out another event here.
