by Marinda Cliff on For some reason we were stared at by quite a few when we entered the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Have you never seen some one wearing a motorcycle jacket? The design of Flip was nice. I love the decor, with the booths "flipped" above the boot seating area. It's a little congested. It felt a little like a high end school cafeteria. I had a bacon burger. It was just the perfect size because that's what a serving SHOULD look like. It was good but not great. The bun had a funny flavor. I've definitely had better tasting burgers. If I return, it will not be for a burger. I will try a shake next time. I hope they are as good as they look.
by Kendra K. on In all honestly, I was a little skeptical of the name Woodfire Grill, which sounds a little like a chain. Once I realized this was Kevin Gillespie's restaurant, I was very excited. This was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had. I got the Chef's tasting menu and was in love with the oyster and roasted califlower dish. The pork belly was melt in your mouth good. The service was great the the server was very attentive and friendly. Will be returning next time I am in Atlanta!
