Mulligan's Pub - About Us
Mulligan’s Pub: Eastown's version of a neighborhood watering hole. This Irish style pub offers a dark, cozy setting no matter the time of day. Rub shoulders with locals at the spacious 4-sided bar, enjoy a game on the many hi-definition big screen TVs with a few cold beers, or just settle into one of the booths with a newspaper or a good book. A small games area in the rear of the building offers an additional option with its two pool tables and a dart room. If you need a place to unwind after a hard day at work and just need a place to unwind and forget your worries, this is the place for you. Established in 1980, Mulligans has a strong history. We pride ourselves in our abilities to drink and our knowledge of music. We have live music on the weekends in our venue The Otherside and we pack the house every single weekend. We have the cheapest and strongest drinks in town. PERIOD.

by Carley Bahnsen on Great dance studio for those ballroom/nightclub dancers who are looking for a place to practice. The dance floor on the 3rd floor is very big, and is perfect for those marking their choreography on competition sized floor. Floor fee is only $5 a person, or $10 a couple, for the whole day! Lots of great and friendly people teach and practice here, and they add to the flavor of the studio. The only real downside I have is the parking around Westmor. Being in downtown, it can be difficult getting free parking around the streets (in the evening). 6pm clears the meters on 6th street, and 7pm for the meters at Wilshire. Otherwise, there is a parking lot behind/adjacent to Westmor that cost $5 (at least last time I've used it), and a short walk.
by Scott S. on Place was great...interesting decor to it...kinda felt like a combination of a lounge and a jersey diner. anywhere that i can get a 25oz bottle of Chimay I am instantly a fan of. If I can also order food at said establishment, then we are starting to move into something special. Not only can you order food, but the food was AWESOME...tapas style...goes great late night with drinks. lobster mac, indian spiced sausage, lettuce wraps, and i think pasta. all were fantastic, but the lobster mac and cheese was def the highlight...it was actually orzo i believe which was very interesting.. topped it all off with 2 desserts, a blondie thing and a peanut butter thing..forget the names (i was mildly intoxicated at that point) but they were AWESOME... I totally recommend Continental and will definitely return when I visit philly again
