Me and about 7 friends came here got bottle service(standard prices) and got faded hahahaha... the music was good service was great and the club itself had a great energy! The staff was super cool and very attentive... The music was actually mostly hip hop old and new school so it was a good blend. The crowd is mellow and Bruce Jenner came with his son.... so bottle service, girls and making it rain!!!1 great time hahahaha
by Randolph Munzer on The food at STK was great from the appetizers (Lil Mac sliders) to the entree (steak...yum! and sides double yum). Dessert was decent...not great but decent. The decor is VERY trendy and typical of the meatpacking district. My only gripe about the seating was that they tried to pack everyone in like a pack of cattle. It is very tight and you're pratically sitting very close to the table next to you. Bartenders are courteous. The bar area gets super crowded later into the nite. The crowd.....VERY pretentious. Ya know what i mean people... It definitely got louder over the course of dinner. We showed up at 7PM and by the time we left (around 11PM), we could hardly hear ourselves thinking.
by Virgilio Malaney on I watched KT Tunstall here on a Tuesday night last week. How do I say this nicely?... While walking around looking for good place to watch the show, I turned to my friend and said "I think there are STDs in the carpet". Don't look at the nasty carpet, people, you will wish you were wearing biohazard boots. I was wearing open-toe flats that night. Damn. KT gets 4 stars!!! (Fantastic show, but she didn't sing my song Universe & U... -1 star) Avalon gets 1 star for providing a space for small theater shows..
