by Waylon Manvelyan on I came for Wolfgang Gartner last Friday. The bouncers don't take any b.s. from the customers. In fact, they seemed amused that one person was trying to get her non-fake Alabama ID back... But anyway, I happened to come to an over 18 show. To be honest, as someone in her mid-20s, I felt really out of place. The bottom floor had what I consider to be indie-electro music as well as some cross-dressed patrons (random tidbit). The second, main floor had most of the popular music, remixed. The third floor, with the fourth floor balcony, had the main attraction as well as electro/dnb music. People were dancing on all surfaces available. There was a surprising amount of breathing room, which I appreciated. Bartenders were decent and quick. You'll pay a pretty penny for a simple drink. The music is loud, so I advise bringing ear plugs. Maybe I'm just an old fogy...
